The service
Chiron Cloud is a hosted study tool: it writes courses, tutors you through them, and schedules practice so what you learn stays learned. A free account includes a trial allowance; the Chiron Cloud subscription adds unlimited course writing, tutoring, and multi-device sync. We may change or discontinue features, but never in a way that traps your data — see “Your work.”
Your work
Everything you make here — courses, review history, notes, your learner profile — is yours. You can download all of it as ordinary files at any time, on any plan, including after you cancel. We claim no ownership of it and use it only to run the service for you.
Generated content
Courses and tutor feedback are written by an AI model and audited by automated checks, but they can still be wrong. Treat a brand-new course as a draft until you've looked it over, and don't rely on Chiron alone where an error would be dangerous or costly (medical, legal, financial decisions). If you find an error, tell us — support@chiron.study— and we'll re-audit.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until canceled. Cancel any time from your account page; you keep access until the end of the paid period, and your data remains downloadable afterward. If a charge is wrong, email us and we'll fix it.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service: no attempting to break or overload it, no reselling the AI features, no using the tutor to generate content that's illegal or harms others. Trial and daily allowances exist so one account can't spend everyone's budget; gaming them may get an account suspended. We'll warn you before we suspend anything unless the abuse is flagrant.
Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you like — download your files first. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 90 days' notice and keep exports working the whole time.
The legal bits
The service is provided “as is” without warranties; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. If we change these terms materially, we'll email account holders before the change takes effect.
